Health regulation in commission

Health regulation in commission

The commission convened under the chairmanship of AK Party Ankara Deputy Vedat Bilgin.

Bayburt Deputy Orhan Ateş, one of the first signatories of the proposal, explained the transformations and innovations that the AK Party has implemented in the field of health since 2002.

Ateş stated that efforts were being made to expand health services and increase their quality through policies implemented in the field of health, and noted that physical and human infrastructure and resources in health services were improved, and the effectiveness of preventive and curative health services was increased.

Ateş stated that social and economic transformation, rapidly developing technology, constantly changing and increasing needs and demands necessitate the continuous revision and improvement of every system, and said, "In this context, various regulations and changes have been made in line with the Healthy Turkey Century Program, which was implemented with the protective, developing and universal health model, in order to provide better and higher quality health service delivery and to protect our country's power in the field of health."

Noting that the health policies of the AK Party governments are based not only on infrastructure but also on access to services and human dignity, Ateş said that health policies are shaped with an understanding that also considers the rights of patients and the personal rights of healthcare professionals.

The commission began discussions on the entire proposal.
