Dr. Mehmet Erdoğan said, "In recent years, the subjects of hair loss and hair transplantation have been receiving increasing attention. Hair loss is not only an aesthetic concern, but also an important condition that affects individuals psychologically. Especially in men, genetic predisposition, stress, hormonal changes and environmental factors can cause hair loss, while in women, postpartum hormonal changes, nutritional deficiencies and medical disorders can lead to hair loss."
Dr. Mehmet Erdoğan said, "Hair transplantation is no longer just a process of restoring lost hair, but also a process that helps rebuild one's self-confidence. We create personalized treatment plans by taking into account the individual needs of each of our patients."
Explaining the things to consider before deciding on hair transplantation, Dr. Erdoğan said:
"The most suitable time for hair transplantation is when the hair loss has reached a certain level but the donor area is still strong. Transplants done too early can disrupt the natural appearance of the hair and, more importantly, may require additional sessions in the following years as the hair loss continues.
"Since the hair loss process generally continues in individuals under the age of 25, transplants performed at an early age may require additional procedures in the long term. In patients aged 30 and over, hair transplant planning may be healthier as the loss process becomes clearer.
"One of the most critical factors in hair transplantation is the hair density in the patient's donor area. If the donor area is insufficient, you may not be a suitable candidate for transplantation. Therefore, a detailed analysis should be done by a specialist doctor.
"Factors such as smoking, irregular sleep, and unhealthy diet can negatively affect the hair transplantation process. Adopting a healthy lifestyle before and after the operation increases the success of the transplant."
Dr. Erdoğan said, "In recent years, Turkey has become one of the most preferred countries in the world in the field of hair transplantation and medical tourism. The provision of high-quality health services at affordable costs, modern technological infrastructure, experienced health professionals and the importance given to patient satisfaction make Türkiye a center of attraction in this field. Behind this success lies not only affordable prices, but also high-level medical standards, comprehensive consultancy processes and personalized treatment approaches. At this point, we stand out as one of the leading institutions representing Türkiye's power in medical aesthetics."
