Places that offer free mammograms in Mexico City and Edomex

Mammograms are used to detect changes or abnormalities in breast tissue , which can become problems over time. They can reveal small lumps or masses that a person cannot feel.

One day before World Breast Cancer Day, October 18, the Álvaro Obregón City Hall will offer free mammograms during its Health Fair.

It will be This Saturday, October 18, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm , on the Esplanade of the Multipurpose Hall of the Álvaro Obregón City Hall. Address: 10th Street, almost at the corner of Canario Street, in the Tolteca neighborhood.

For its part, the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) will hold the "ISSSTE Health Day - Mammograms" in Toluca.

S It will be this Friday, October 17, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm ., at the ISSSTE General Hospital in Toluca, State of Mexico. Address: Daniel Espinoza Street, Jesús Jiménez Gallardo, 52167, Metepec, Edomex.

Free mammograms will be offered to women ages 40 to 69 , although the campaign will be open to the general public.

To take advantage of the free services, you must make an appointment and meet the following requirements:

• Wear comfortable clothes
