Security measures around Netanyahu increased to 'unprecedented' level

Israel’s domestic intelligence service, Shin-Bet (Shabak), has increased security measures to protect Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to an ‘unprecedented’ level. According to the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, Shin-Bet has increased security measures around Netanyahu with new technological devices to a level that everyone can see.
The increase in security measures was noticed during the 'Memorial Day' and 'Independence Day' events.
The report stated that "unprecedented" levels of security measures were taken around Netanyahu with various technological devices, especially high-tech security cameras and thermal body scanners.
It was reported that Netanyahu's guards wore masks to hide their faces and also used devices that allowed them to inspect shoes.
It was noted that at the "Memorial Ceremony" on Mount Herzl, Netanyahu wore "an unusual ceramic bulletproof vest."
At the awards ceremony, where Netanyahu cancelled his participation at the last minute, no other devices, except cameras, were activated.
In addition, those who attended the events were subjected to security checks for the first time, they were searched and some were asked to remove their kippas. It was reported that some were detained during the security check.
Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Shin Bet did not deny the allegations and said, "We do not comment on security arrangements."
