Elderly couple found dead in home

Residing in the Yeşilöz area of ​​Irmak village in the Yahşihan district of Kırıkkale, relatives of 67-year-old Celal and 64-year-old Sündüs Türkoğlu went to the couple's house after they could not get any news from them. Entering the house, the family members found the elderly couple motionless in their room.

After the situation was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health, gendarmerie and fire teams were dispatched to the scene.

In the initial examination by the health teams, it was determined that Celal and Sündüs Türkoğlu died from carbon monoxide poisoning leaking from the stove.

The bodies of the couple were taken to the Kırıkkale Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.
