Circular from the Ministry of Health to 81 provinces!
In the statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that the "Ministry of Health Inspection Board Circular" was published with the signature of Minister Memişoğlu and sent to the governorships of 81 provinces.
According to the statement, the circular will ensure that public services are carried out in a more effective, efficient, transparent and accountable manner. All complaints related to the provision of health services will be evaluated immediately and the patient rights units within the hospitals affiliated with the Ministry will be made to work more actively. Within the scope of the Risk-Based Digital Audit (REDES), which was implemented a while ago, risky situations will be examined by unit managers and the necessary measures will be taken.
With the Ministry of Health Inspection Board Circular, which is based on the Presidential Circular published last year, all possible problems that may arise in technical and administrative matters related to the provision of health services will be resolved "on site and in the shortest time" without causing citizens to complain.
Within the scope of inspections that gained momentum upon the instructions of Minister Memişoğlu, 206 hospitals in 19 provinces were inspected in two main inspection campaigns that were launched with 38 inspectors in January and 53 inspectors in April. The identified problems were resolved and the quality of health services was increased.
Within the scope of the circular, all kinds of measures will be taken by the Provincial Health Directorates and hospital administrations to resolve the complaints conveyed to the patient rights units within the hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health on site and in the shortest time possible.
Among the reports and complaints submitted to hospitals, the claims that do not require inspector knowledge will be examined primarily by over three thousand qualified personnel who have attended the "Inspection" training organized by the Ministry of Health Inspection Board.
Within the scope of the circular, the REDES Manager Information Screens created by the Inspection Board Presidency REDES Coordination Office will also be made accessible to provincial health directors and chief physicians. In this context, risky situations will be examined by unit managers using the screens in question and the necessary precautions will be taken immediately.
According to the circular, inspectorate letters regarding requests for experts or expert committees will be answered with priority. The circular sent to the provinces aims to carry out a more effective and efficient inspection process.
