Minister Memişoğlu: There is no other country that provides 13 vaccines to children free of charge
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu said, "We have developed and developed a health infrastructure and service that is actually beyond imagination and that most people do not even think about."
Memişoğlu, who was in Bolu for a series of programs, visited the Upper Bazaar and Taş Han tradesmen after performing the Friday prayer at the Yıldırım Beyazıt Mosque.
Later, Memişoğlu visited İzzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital and Merkez İzzet Baysal Healthy Life Center, gave report card gifts to the children and gave advice on healthy living.
Afterwards, Memişoğlu came together with party members at the AK Party Provincial Headquarters and gave information about the health investments to be made in Bolu.
Memişoğlu stated that Türkiye, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, provides health services that are exemplary in the world, and continued as follows:
"We say this, but we have not had an easy time in 23 years. Turkey has managed this process with incredible leadership. In fact, we have transformed and developed into a health infrastructure and service that is beyond imagination and that most people do not even think about. We may not be able to explain this, we cannot promote it, but when you look at it today, there are 184 thousand bed capacity in Türkiye, only single-double beds with toilets and bathrooms, and all of these beds were built in the last 20 years. In 2002, there were not even 10 thousand of these beds, including the private sector, and it has increased 8.5-9 times."
Memişoğlu, explaining that people could not find the opportunity to receive service from the health system in 2002, said, "In 2002, each of our citizens met their health needs on average twice. Today, we are well above the European average, each of our citizens can reach a health care provider 12.4 times. While our people used to go to other countries even to have heart surgery, today people in those countries come to Türkiye to receive all kinds of health services. We are talking about health services that touched our people 1 billion times in just 1 year."
"WE PROVIDE FREE VACCINATION IN 13 ITEMS"Memişoğlu also stated that they have made progress in terms of protection and that they provide free vaccinations for 13 patients, and talked about the services provided in healthy life centers and the new family medicine system.
"WE ARE WORKING TO DO BETTER"Memişoğlu emphasized that they are working to do even better in healthcare and said that they will renew the physical structures in Bolu in a short time and that they are making plans.
Minister Memişoğlu stated that the PET-CT device used in the diagnosis of cancer and other diseases sent to the city will start providing service after its location is determined.
Pointing out that painful situations are being witnessed in the world and that the world is going through a difficult period, Memişoğlu said, "There is a civilization that is trying to continue its own exploitation system. It is actually doing evil. It wants to continue its civilization and dominance with evil. When we look at our past history, we have never exploited or done evil as a civilization, always peace and goodness. When we have dominated and governed, we have made people happy and peaceful. That is why we are a civilization of goodness."
AK Party Bolu Deputy Yüksel Coşkunyürek and AK Party Provincial Chairman Suat Güner also gave speeches at the program.
