Izmir investigation extends to Esenyurt! Iranian Nooriborojerdi detained

EB, who carried out the attack at the police station in Izmir's Balçova district in which two police officers were martyred and two others were injured, was caught injured.

As part of the ongoing investigation, the murder suspect's father NB and mother AB and two of his friends were detained.

Iranian citizen Khaleg Nooriborojerdi, who was identified as having contact with EB, was also detained in the Esenyurt district of Istanbul.

This brings the number of detentions to six.
