Following the discovery of a partially submerged and fragmented boat under the control of businessman Halit Yukay off the coast of Marmara Island, an investigation was launched by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Investigations revealed that the ship under Captain CT's control veered off course and made a circular motion off the coast of Marmara Island. Scuff marks were found near the ship's bow. Camera footage also showed Captain CT and a companion inspecting the ship's bow after it arrived in Kocaeli Port. It was determined that no report was made to the Coast Guard Command regarding the suspect. An investigation was launched

After the boat Graywolf, owned by Halit Yukay, was found torn apart and half-sunken off the coast of Marmara Island, an investigation was launched by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the allegation that the Turkish-flagged vessel captained by Turkish citizen CT had collided with the boat in question.

In his statement taken from CT, the arrested ship captain said that while sailing from Çanakkale to Kocaeli, at around 17.10 on the day of the incident, he saw pieces and a lifebuoy at the bow of the ship, passed through these pieces, made a circle for checking, but continued sailing because he did not see any signs of life.

TRACES ON THE BOAT BELONG TO THE SHIP

In the examinations carried out within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that the ship under the control of the suspect had gone off course and made a circular movement off the coast of Marmara Island, that there were friction marks on the bow of the ship, and that white friction marks that did not belong to the Graywolf were detected on the parts of the boat.

Camera footage also shows captain CT and a companion inspecting the ship's bow after the ship arrived at Kocaeli Port. However, it appears no report was made to the Coast Guard.

CAPTAIN ARRESTED

The Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office referred suspect CT to the Yalova Criminal Court of Peace with a request for his arrest due to the existence of strong evidence suggesting he committed the crime of negligent homicide. Initially released on probation, the suspect was subsequently arrested following an objection by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and subsequently sent to prison. It has been reported that the investigation into the incident is continuing diligently.

An interesting detail has emerged regarding the incident. It was reported that Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, who was involved in the search for Yukay, was in contact with the businessman just before the accident, when the call suddenly cut off. When Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ couldn't reach his friend, he reportedly called the businessman's father and expressed his suspicions.

As the search for businessman Halit Yukay continues, Yukay's close friend Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ also testified. The actor, who also participated in the search, was summoned to the Yalova Courthouse to testify in an investigation conducted by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

In his statement, Tatlıtuğ stated that he had been on the phone with Yukay before the accident, but that the line suddenly disconnected during their conversation, and that he could not reach her again. Meanwhile, the results of samples taken from the cargo ship believed to have collided with the yacht off the coast of Marmara Island, Balıkesir, were also released. The results showed that the paint marks on the ship and the disintegrated yacht matched each other.

Famous actor Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ recently joined the search for the successful businessman. Narlı village headman Abdullah Dağtekin assisted Tatlıtuğ at the scene.

The famous actor purchased one of Yukay's boats last month and frequently met with the businessman. Upon hearing about the incident, Tatlıtuğ immediately went to the village of Narlı in Erdek and closely monitored the coast guard operations for hours.

Search and rescue efforts continue for businessman Halit Yukay, whose boat was found wrecked after he set sail from Yalova. On the fifth day of the incident, renowned actor Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ shared a striking post on his social media account.

In a video posted on Instagram, Tatlıtuğ recalled the disappearance of his close friend Yukay and called for help. "As you know, my dear brother Halit Yukay disappeared in a tragic accident at 3:30 PM while wandering from Yalova toward Bozcaada. Today is the morning of the fifth day, and we have entered very critical times," he said.

The famous actor, especially addressing those living in the area, said, "We will continue to search in the area I marked starting from 05:00. The marine police are in the area."

"We need the help of all government authorities, local fishing boats, and civilians. I ask everyone who has the opportunity to conduct an investigation and share tips or information," he said.
