5 different smart cancer drugs included in the scope of SSI reimbursement

President Erdoğan made important statements following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting.

President Erdoğan, who announced that 5 different smart cancer drugs used in the treatment of 25 different cancer diseases were included in the reimbursement scope of the Social Security Institution (SGK), said, "Previously, our patients were obtaining these cancer drugs with their own means and suing the Social Security Institution. During this process, both patients were victimized and high drug prices and court costs were creating a serious cost for the Social Security Institution budget."

President Erdoğan said, "We are thus taking a very meaningful step for our 48 thousand cancer patients and their families."
