Roszdravnadzor to tackle issues of fostering responsible attitudes towards health among young people

It is planned to achieve such goals as strengthening and protecting the health of young people, introducing modern health-preserving and health-forming technologies, increasing the availability of professional psychological assistance to citizens in educational institutions, developing comprehensive programs to support the mental health of young people aimed at preventing stress, mental disorders, developing resilience and adaptability to changing life circumstances.
Another goal by 2030 is the development of recreation and health facilities taking into account the needs of young families, as well as obstetric and gynecological care for the population, and the implementation of measures to prevent abortions. The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation has been appointed as the responsible executor.
This goal is included in the group "Creation of favorable conditions for young families aimed at increasing the birth rate, forming the values of family culture". The expected result of the event is the creation of conditions for the stay of children with disabilities and disabled children in the all-Russian children's centers "Orlyonok", "Smena", "Okean", "Scarlet Sails", "Artek", the introduction of new approaches in the work of women's consultations to form positive reproductive attitudes in women in medical organizations of all forms of ownership, and others.
Another goal related to the same group is the creation of a system for preparing disabled people for independent family life, including with the use of supported living. The responsible executors are interested federal executive bodies, as well as bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. To achieve this goal, it is planned to hold events for disabled people, families with disabled children to adapt them to independent life, including creative and professional self-realization.
According to the thematic order, the departments responsible for the implementation of specific activities will be required to submit a report to Rosmolodezh on the results of their work by March 1 of each year.
In March 2025, the Government approved the Strategy of Actions for the Implementation of Family and Demographic Policy and Support for Large Families in Russia until 2036. Among other things, the document provides birth and death rates for the period from 2006 to 2024, identifies the reasons for the change in the demographic situation in Russia, and sets out the goals and objectives of the strategy. For example, the order notes that by 2030, at least 50% of the population aged 18 to 49 should undergo a medical examination to assess their reproductive health.
In April, a new Strategy of Actions in the Interests of Senior Citizens until 2030 was adopted . The document focuses on issues of increasing the length, standard and quality of life of the elderly, accessibility of medical care and necessary social services.
