Italy is scorching hot, today 6 cities are on red alert and tomorrow it's a record with 13

Italy increasingly gripped by scorching heat. Today, Thursday, June 26, the heat will besiege six cities marked with a red dot. And tomorrow, Friday 27, it will be worse with the maximum alert - indicating emergency conditions with possible negative effects on the health of healthy and active people - which will involve 13 cities. This is reported in the bulletin on heat waves from the Ministry of Health.

Today you are cities with a red stamp

There are six cities with a red dot today: Bologna, Florence, Turin, Bolzano, Brescia and Perugia. And it won't be cool in the rest of Italy, because it will be an orange dot (alert level 2) in Ancona, Campobasso, Frosinone, Latina, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Pescara, Rieti, Rome, Venice and Verona.

Record heat tomorrow in 13 cities

Tomorrow the heat will be record high with 13 cities out of 27 monitored with the red dot: Ancona, Bologna, Bolzano, Brescia, Campobasso, Florence, Frosinone, Milan, Perugia, Rome, Turin, Venice and Verona. And in 10 cities there will be an orange dot (Cagliari, Catania, Latina, Naples, Palermo, Pescara, Reggio Calabria, Rieti, Trieste and Viterbo).

Four cities remain with a yellow stamp: Messina, Genoa, Civitavecchia and Bari. No city will have a green stamp between today and tomorrow.
