Asfo's large-scale radiology contract amid appeals and delays: the Committee protests.

Legal battles, delays and restarts. The issue of radiology in hospitals in western Friuli, with the large-scale contract awarded by Asfo (Association of Italian Regional Administrative Courts) and awarded to Fora di Parma (after appeals to the Regional Administrative Court and the Council of State), appears to be never-ending. Outsourcing, for a large portion of the services, was made necessary by the difficulty in finding radiologists, with the aim of reducing waiting lists. The start-up deadline, scheduled for June, has, however, been further postponed. The Committee for Public Health for the Common Good is waging a battle over the methods and timing. Also alongside the committee were regional councilors Honsell Capozzi and Conficoni
Troubled waters also prevail in San Vito al Tagliamento. The In Buona Salute San Vito Association continues to push for the reopening of the Maternity Unit and the strengthening of local healthcare, and is organizing a human chain of protest outside the San Vito hospital.
