Labaroche. Far from the contaminated zone of Chernobyl, Kyryl is recovering

"Kyryl, come here," calls Joëlle Behra. The little boy timidly steps through the door of this small house in Labaroche before taking refuge behind it. The Ludo game is spread out on the kitchen table. Joëlle and her husband Michel have been foster families since 2009 for the Children of Chernobyl, an organization that helps people affected by radioactive contamination from the nuclear power plant.
