Meteorology issues yellow code downpour warning for 3 cities

According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is expected to be partly cloudy and very cloudy in some places in the northern and eastern parts of the country, with local showers and thunderstorms in the western and central Black Sea coasts, the eastern Black Sea region, the northeast of Eastern Anatolia and the areas around Tokat and Van, while other places are expected to be partly cloudy and clear.

Rainfall is expected to be heavy in places around Kars and Ardahan, as well as inland Artvin. Temperatures are expected to drop slightly in the northeast, with no significant changes elsewhere.

On the other hand, the wind is expected to blow generally lightly from the south in the north and southeastern parts, occasionally moderately strong, and to blow north in the inner parts of the Eastern Mediterranean, southwest of Eastern Anatolia and west of Southeastern Anatolia, and strong (40-60 km/h) from the south around Hakkari.

YELLOW CODE WARNING FOR 3 PROVINCES A yellow code warning has been issued for 3 provinces in the daily report of the General Directorate of National Security (MGM). As heavy rainfall is expected in the areas around Kars and Ardahan, as well as inland areas of Artvin, caution and precautions are required against possible negative effects.
