Iranian President Pezeshkian: Trust us, our response will make Israel regret it

Following Israel's airstrikes on Iran, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian made a statement.

In a statement made on the official website of the Iranian Presidency , Pezeshkian said, "Iran's reaction will make us regret it."

Pezeshkiyan's statement is as follows:

"We witnessed a brutal and brutal attack by the Zionist regime on Tehran and other cities in the country overnight, in which innocent civilians, including women and children, as well as military commanders and nuclear scientists lost their lives.

This barbaric act, which completely violates all international commitments, reveals the criminal nature of the Zionist regime, which has based its existence on occupation, aggression and the killing of children.

The attack that took place tonight proves to the whole world that aggression and criminality, which the Islamic Republic has been expressing for years, are inherent in the nature of the Zionist regime. The Iranian people and authorities will not remain silent in the face of this crime, and the strong and legitimate response of the Islamic Republic of Iran will make the enemy regret his stupid action.

Just as the Islamic Republic has always made maximum efforts to maintain peace in the region and the world and has proven its readiness for dialogue in order to assure the world of its efforts towards peace, it will also act resolutely to respond to aggression and defend the territorial integrity of the country.

I call on the proud people of Iran to maintain their unity and solidarity, not to listen to rumors and misinformation designed as part of the enemy's psychological warfare, and to trust and accompany the authorities who will help the country overcome these conditions as strongly as possible.

I also assure the Iranian people that the government of the Islamic Republic will continue to serve the nation with full determination and daily life will continue without disruption.

Today, the Iranian nation needs to stand together in unity, trust, solidarity and reconciliation more than ever. With the help of Allah Almighty and with such a noble spirit, our nation will respond wisely, strongly and resolutely to the brutal crimes of the occupying regime, which is the most hated entity by the Iranian people today, with Allah's permission."
