İmamoğlu's 'Israel' reaction: All regional countries, including Türkiye, should make an effort

Ekrem İmamoğlu, the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) and CHP's presidential candidate, who is being held in the Marmara Prison in Silivri, reacted to Israel's attack on Iran. İmamoğlu's message shared on the 'Presidential Candidate Office' account included the following statements:

"I condemn Israel's attack on Iran this morning, which threatens the stability of our region and violates international law. It is not in the interest of any country in our region for the diplomatic negotiations between the US and Iran to come to naught. All countries in the region, including Turkey, should immediately intervene together with the international community and make efforts to prevent escalation of tensions and keep diplomatic channels open."
