As the countdown to the Fenerbahçe presidential election continues, there was much speculation about whether Aziz Yıldırım would be a candidate.

According to Sözcü, Aziz Yıldırım made his decision before the presidential election to be held in Fenerbahçe on September 21.

It was learned that Yıldırım, who had been speculated to be a candidate in the previous days, decided not to run.

Yıldırım, who has been assessing the situation with his staff, has reportedly decided not to run and will not support any other candidates. Meanwhile, there is talk of a possible merger between other candidates Sadettin Saran and Hakan Bilal Kutlualp.
