A minibus carrying agricultural workers plunged into a ditch, killing 5

A minibus carrying agricultural workers plunged 10 meters in the Erdemli district of Mersin. Health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene after being alerted by bystanders. Arriving teams determined that five people had died at the scene. Fourteen injured people were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance.

The bodies of the deceased were taken to the morgue for autopsy.
