A silent march was held in Warsaw to commemorate the murdered doctor Tomasz Solecki. A photo report from the event is available below.

- The demands included legal protection, control of access to facilities and official prosecution of threats.
- The march participants also demanded that a pension be granted to the child of the murdered orthopedist.
On Saturday, Warsaw hosted a silent march as part of the Medics Against Hate campaign, organized in response to the brutal murder of Tomasz Solecki, an orthopedist at the University Hospital in Krakow. The event was attended by doctors, nurses, paramedics, diagnosticians, pharmacists and physiotherapists, who marched in silence from the Infant Jesus Hospital to the Ministry of Health building in protest against the growing violence against healthcare workers.
- The tragic death of our colleague has shocked the entire medical community. We will not ignore it - said Dr. Krzysztof Herman, vice-president of the District Medical Council.
- We are all dressed in black to symbolically pay tribute to our colleague who tragically died and to protest against the growing aggression against medical personnel - the union wrote on social media.
The march was also reported on social media by a journalist from Radio ZET. - This is our silent cry - he heard from the medics.
Medics presented their demands- In black costumes, in silence, we express our opposition to the violence that increasingly affects healthcare workers. Among the participants were doctors from the District Medical Chamber in Warsaw, members of the Organizing Committee of the Medics Against Hate campaign. Representatives of the All-Poland Trade Union Alliance also participated in the march - the District Medical Chamber in Warsaw reported.
- The demands that will be submitted to the Ministry of Health today include, among others:
- Dr. Solecki's child pension
- Real legal protection for medical professions
- Safety standards in facilities
- Protection of medical data
