Two bills introducing a smoking ban were considered by Warsaw city councilors on July 10th. One was authored by the Left and the Miasto Jest Nasze (City Is Ours) party, the other by Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski. The ban would apply at night and would be the latest in Poland. Both bills were submitted to district councils.
- There are two projects introducing night-time prohibition in Warsaw

The councilors unanimously decided to submit the president's bill to the districts for review, with 53 councilors voting in favor. The councilors' bill was adopted by a simple majority, with 18 councilors voting in favor and 35 abstaining.

The Left Club and Miasto Jest Nasze have prepared a draft resolution introducing a nighttime prohibition. It would apply throughout the city from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM .
