Changes in the Team operating at the Ministry of Health. There is an amendment to the regulation

The Ministry of Health has introduced changes to the composition of the team responsible for developing procedures and guidelines for dealing with people experiencing sexual violence.
It introduces a representative of the Supreme Council of Nurses and Midwives to the team and removes the provision regarding the obligation for its members to express "written consent" to participate in the work and introduces the provision: they express their consent.
The Team deliberates, let us recall, at meetings that take place at the seat of the Ministry of Health or in another place designated by the Chairman of the Team. They can also take place remotely, using electronic means of communication.
The team's task is to develop procedures and guidelines for dealing with people experiencing sexual violence.
The committee consists of:
- Director of the Department of Health Equity at the Ministry of Health, who is also the Chairman of the Team,
- national consultant in the field of gynecology and obstetrics,
- national consultant in the field of gynecological and obstetric nursing,
- National Consultant in General Surgery,
- national consultant in the field of perinatology,
- representative of the Silesian Medical University,
- representative of the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians,
- representative of the Polish Society for Sexual and Reproductive Health,
- representative of the CARE International Foundation in Poland,
- representative of the Feminoteka Foundation,
- representative of the Foundation for Women and Family Planning,
- representative of the Supreme Council of Nurses and Midwives,
- representative of the Patient Rights Ombudsman,
- Secretary of the Team – representative of the Department of Health Equality at the Ministry of Health.
