ISSSTE deploys brigades to support those affected by the rains in five states.

The Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), under the direction of Martí Batres Guadarrama, is intensifying its attention to communities affected by the rains in Hidalgo, Puebla, Veracruz, San Luis Potosí and Querétaro. To this end, it has deployed 200 brigades to various locations, offering health and humanitarian support .
With a focus on solidarity, the brigade members administer vaccines against tetanus, hepatitis B, influenza, and COVID-19, as well as those included in the regular schedule for children and pregnant women, within the framework of the 2025-2026 Winter Vaccination Campaign to beneficiaries and non- beneficiaries .
In addition, they set up modules offering medical consultations, preventive assessments, medication supplies, wound care, and chronic disease follow-up. They also provide guidance on preventive measures, make referrals to secondary and tertiary care hospitals, and deliver food to those in need.
The communities served include Tuxpan, Poza Rica de Hidalgo, Álamo, and Huayacocotla in Veracruz; Huauchinango and its surrounding areas in Puebla; Río Escanela, Epazotes Grandes, and others in Pinal de Amoles, Querétaro; Tamazunchale, San Martín Chalchicuautla, and surrounding municipalities in San Luis Potosí; as well as Huautla, Metztitlán, Tianguistengo, and other areas in Hidalgo.
These actions are carried out in collaboration with various areas of ISSSTE , including the Medical Directorate, state offices, regional hospitals, as well as FOVISSSTE and SuperISSSTE.
Martí Batres reiterated the institute's commitment to the health and well-being of the population in the face of this emergency, maintaining coordination with the Government of Mexico, led by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
