He joined the "miracle" team 27 years ago. Pascal Petithory received a kidney and pancreas transplant when he was 39. If he is now 67 years old, it is thanks to his donor, whom he strives to "honor" every day. "I take care of him through me," Pascal confides with emotion, who returned to us on that day of February 9, 1999, his "second date of birth."

Even if he doesn't like to say it like that, Pascal is a survivor. He joined the very exclusive club of "transplant recipients" twenty-seven years ago. Among transplant recipients , they understand each other. They owe their lives to a donor they don't know (anonymity of organ donation requires, Editor's note), but with whom they share their daily lives.

Those who don't know what they've been through wonder why they always have a smile on their face...
