Seurre. Challenge successful for two swimmers from the Happy Dream Child association

The start was given at 8 a.m., in water close to 20°C. The pair of swimmers, supervised by a safety puddle, completed thirteen rotations for a distance covered of approximately 10.5 km, to raise funds for a child with Rett syndrome: little Zoé, whose grandmother was present for the event.
This rare neurodegenerative disease develops in very young children and causes cognitive dysfunction and severe motor impairment. It requires special care that cannot be fully provided in France.
The challenge, relayed live on social media and on the quays of Seurre by the Festi'Music association, has already raised nearly €2,300, although the collection continues online.
The check will be presented to the family during a ceremony to be held on Saturday, July 12 at 9 a.m. at the Arc-sur-Tille water ski base.
The two swimmers, who demonstrated great bravery during this event, were received upon their arrival on the quays by the mayor of Seurre, Alain Becquet, who congratulated them for their initiative, their efforts and the choice of the town of Seurre to lead this challenge in favor of Zoé.
