Created in 2009, the hospital's social services department is expanding alongside the aging population. On a daily basis, its three assistants support patients and families in preparing for a safer, and sometimes even more dignified, return home.

They don't wear scrubs or stethoscopes. But Marie, Mélanie, and Elisa are nonetheless essential to the balance of the hospital ward. While doctors care for the bodies, these three social workers ensure the continuity of patients' lives after they leave the hospital.
