The operation, which requires finalizing the installation of teams and equipment, will involve a reduction in emergency room opening hours in Bagatelle for three weeks.
Although the Bahia project for the public-private merger of the Robert-Picqué and Bagatelle hospitals in Talence has indeed fallen through , the transfer of the emergency department of the Villenave-d'Ornon military hospital to the new site of the Protestant health center (MSPBB) is still very much a reality and will be effective from Tuesday, September 30.
This is how we learned through a press release from the Bagatelle Foundation that the Robert-Picqué emergency room will close this Monday, September 29 at 8 p.m. and reopen the next day at 2 p.m. at the site at 203, rue Robespierre in Talence. This reorganization will involve "initially" a reduction in the opening hours of the new emergency room at Bagatelle: "The emergency room will receive patients from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until October 18, the time to finalize the installation of teams and equipment," indicates the MSPBB.
Return to normal on Friday, October 18, with a "new" "modern and innovative" service "open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week," with "continuous and enhanced care for the local population." This is a "major step in the modernization of its healthcare offering," the Bagatelle Foundation is pleased to announce.
