On May 2, a mother purchased baby food for her 12-month-old daughter at the Intermarché des Pré-Potets supermarket in Fontaine-lès-Dijon. The products, which had expired in January 2025, caused mild food poisoning in the child.

Fanny Saoudi, a mother living in Bellefond, thought she was getting a good deal on May 2 when she bought a batch of baby food jars from the NaturNes brand (Nestlé), on sale at the Intermarché des Pré-Potets in Fontaine-lès-Dijon (formerly Géant).

A batch of two, a ham and pea recipe, which she gave to her 12-month-old daughter two days later, on the evening of Sunday, May 4. "I didn't look at the date, given that I had just bought them, I had no doubts," confides the mother.
