Châtillon-sur-Seine. The people of Châtillon are consistent in their blood donations.

"The collection is producing consistent results," said Marie-France Fauquette, president of the Blood Donation Association, in light of the results obtained at the Luc-Schreder Hall in Châtillon-sur-Seine on Wednesday, April 30.
"68 donors came forward, for 60 whole blood donations, including one new one. That was 66 in February. Volunteers are always involved in welcoming donors, but we need more recruits! The doctor was present, which allowed for a smooth process because when the nurses do the medical examination, they have to call him if they have any doubts."
Sophie Gonzalez, 37, a special education teacher, has been donating blood for two years now, after a long hiatus because her blood reacted badly to the reagents used for analysis. "I come to help people who really need blood. If our bodies allow it, we can save lives; it's a civic act. The online appointment booking app allows you to organize your visit, and we regularly receive text messages and emails so we don't forget."
Next collection Wednesday, June 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - to make an appointment: dondesang.efs.sante.fr or on the Blood Donation app.
