Camembert, Coulommiers, goat cheese... Which cheeses have been recalled due to the risk of listeriosis?

The government announced a large- scale recall of pasteurized milk cheeses on Tuesday, August 12, due to a "possible link" to the detection of 21 cases of listeriosis, including two fatal ones. The cheeses affected include a large number of Camemberts, as well as Coulommiers and bûches.
The products concerned are therefore all soft cheeses with a bloomy rind made from pasteurized cow's or goat's milk, which were marketed until August 9, 2025.
Around 40 products from different brands are affected, but they all come from the Chaverand cheese factory located in Creuse. Many retailers are also affected by these recalls, such as Lidl, Carrefour, Auchan, Leclerc, U, as well as Grand Frais, Norma, Corra, and Netto.
