Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Health of business leaders in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes: a worrying study

The results of the MMA Entrepreneurs of the Future Foundation study on the physical and psychological fitness of managers in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes were published at the end of August.

The results are alarming: 82% of the executives surveyed say they suffer from disorders. This is too much, especially since nearly a quarter (23%) refuse to consult a doctor.

When it comes to physical ailments, most respondents cite sleep disturbances and back pain. The psychological aspect is different.

Mental health is too often neglected in businesses. To address fragile psychological health, most leaders fall into dark traps.

30% admit to suffering or having suffered from addictions, the most common being alcohol and tobacco. This data is of interest to Sylvie Bonnello, general delegate of the MMA Entrepreneurs du Futur Foundation : "This is a key lesson that we must integrate into the awareness-raising activities we carry out throughout the year."
