A hormone-free pillThe latter studied a sample of 16 men, each of whom took the pill for periods ranging from 28 to 90 days, at a rate of one tablet per day, on an empty stomach or after a meal.
No adverse effects were observed. Another advantage is that this pill is hormone-free.
Animal tests, including rats, dogs, and monkeys, have previously shown an efficacy rate close to 100%. The pill's effect is also reversible, with a return to fertility within four to six weeks.
On the market from 2029?The American firm must now begin a large-scale trial, an essential step leading to potential commercialization.

According to the daily, the pill could arrive in pharmacies from 2029, 70 years after the first contraceptive molecule for women.
