The Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation will stop serving members of the teaching profession due to the termination of its contract with Fiduprevisora.

Until July 31, 2025, the Santa Fe Foundation will assist teachers affiliated with the teaching profession due to the termination of their contract with Fiduprevisora.
In a statement, the medical center reported that "as of July 31, 2025, the contract with Fiduciaria La Previsora will end, making it impossible to continue providing care to members of the Magisterio."
The entity added that users should contact their insurer for continued care.
"We understand the inconvenience this may cause and recommend that you contact your insurance provider directly to receive appropriate guidance regarding the continued healthcare you may require," the Foundation stated.

He added: "We want to reiterate that we remain at your disposal to provide you with our comprehensive and complete medical care, always guaranteeing excellence, superior health outcomes, and the commitment that characterizes us."
Finally, the organization reported that "for appointments already scheduled after the announced date , you can receive advice through our contact channels: call center 482 4488 or website www.fundacionsantafedebogota.com."

Law 91 of 1989 created the Teachers' Social Benefits Fund as a national account to manage the social security resources of affiliated teachers, which includes the provision of health services and the payment of their economic benefits. It also establishes that the Fund must be administered by a fiduciary entity.
The provision of medical and healthcare services is carried out through contracts with health entities in accordance with the instructions issued by the Fund's Board of Directors . This system is exempt from the Social Security System under Law 100 of 1993.

The special health regime for teachers, exempt from Law 100, has the following basic characteristics:
- There are no copayments or moderate fees for the care or treatment of teachers affiliated with the FNPSM or their beneficiaries.
- Care and treatment for all types of conditions without restrictions and without minimum contribution periods for teachers affiliated with the FNPSM and their beneficiaries.
