The National Oncology Institute opens its doors in Colomos, Providencia.

The National Oncology Institute (ION) organized the inauguration of its second location, located in Colomos, Providencia.

The hosts welcomed the guests and then offered a few words to commemorate the opening of this branch. The ribbon was then cut by the partners, Drs. Luis Alberto García, Ricardo García, Johana Jazer Garnica, Manuel Solano, and Jorge Jiménez Tornero.

ION is a medical team specializing in multidisciplinary and comprehensive cancer care. More than 17,500 people have passed through ION with stories of struggle, faith, and hope. Five of them were present: Ana Margarita Marroquín, Juan Carlos Placencia, Irma Eugenia Olmedo, Miguel Eduardo Villanueva, and Patricia Ramírez , representing thousands of voices who have trusted this team with their lives, body, and soul. They participated in the Wall of Abundance unveiled that same evening.

It's important to highlight the guests' active participation in the symbolic and interactive tours of the facilities, during which the institute's services were explained and its various spaces were presented. These activities were led by Dr. Andrea Velázquez.

To celebrate this grand opening, a cocktail reception was held , where attendees sampled skewers, vol-au-vents, hors d'oeuvres, and salmon with cheese, accompanied by drinks such as traditional mojitos, cocktails, beer, and wine. The atmosphere was enlivened by music from a DJ, a violinist, and a classical music trio.
