AMG Air Quality: These areas report POOR air quality on July 10, 2025

According to the Jalisco Atmospheric Monitoring System (SIMAJ), administered by the Ministry of Environment and Territorial Development (SEMADET), at 8:00 am this Thursday, July 10, 2025, For most of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (AMG), air quality is good, but with some areas recorded as poor quality.
The Air and Health Index displays green dots representing good quality, but there are also orange dots, classified as poor quality. These are recorded at the Miravalle, Las Pintas, and Santa Anita stations.

For all criteria pollutants, there is a likelihood of decreased lung capacity in healthy individuals. There is an increased likelihood of respiratory symptoms in sensitive individuals (children, the elderly, people with nutritional deficiencies, people engaged in outdoor activities, cyclists, workers). In people with respiratory diseases (COPD, asthma) and heart diseases (angina), there is an increased likelihood of worsening and decreased tolerance for physical activity, as well as a higher likelihood of premature death in people with heart or lung disease.
